• My husband and I went here with our dog for a week in The barn is lovely and clean and private. Sheep at the bottom of the garden were lovely to look out on while having a cuppa in the garden. Everything was in the barn that you could possibly need. The bed was the comfiest we have ever know on a holiday. The owner was friendly & helpful. We did some lovely walks from the barn & weather was lovely, maybe a little too warm! We would definitely recommend the barn. In actual fact we had only been back 10 days & have booked again for next year. We don't normally go back to the same place but this is a must!.”

The Dairy

• Stayed in The Dairy cottage. What a lovely cottage!! 
  
  “Sun room looked out onto open fields, cottage was well equipped with all the essential requirements, including tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, hand wash etc... Seperate laundry room with free use of washer + dryer and included washing powder and rotary line in the shared garden Ample parking spaces.
   In fantastic location - around 20 mins drive to major tourist attractions. Walking distance to lovely village pub serving good meals.
   Would definitely rebook to stay here”

• ”Another lovely stay at Cotterill Farm. The milking parlour is lovely, again everything is there for you just bring yourself and food. Can definitely recommend the Waterloo pub for a lovely meal and good beer. We have booked again for this August it's a lovely place to be and our 3rd time this year.”

• We have just returned from a week at the Milking Parlour having been recommended the cottages by my parents who have stayed at various Cotterill Cottages for the past ten years. The Parlour was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some great walks. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. The location is well in the country but has easy access to the A515 making it a central location for the Peaks.

The Granary

• “Great cottag but we could not get a phone signal but WiFi was ok, not the best but usable. We streamed music no problems, and social media worked”

• ”just got back from a week at the picturesque Coterill Farm cottages, and really enjoyed it. Accommodation was fairly priced and of a good standard, and the positioning was great (managed to feel private and remote whilst not being isolated with other cottages onsite). Lots to do nearby, we filled a week with activities with our young girls and enjoyed a wide variety of good pub grub on a night with loads of options to try. Would / will go again.”

The Haystore

• ”We recently spent a week at the Haystore and were delighted with absolutely everything. The arrival instructions and key arrangements were easy, the house was warm, welcoming and the welcome pack on the table was a really nice touch. 
  The house itself was extremely clean, very well equipped, and everything worked perfectly. The appliances and fittings were of high quality, the heating was excellent and there was always plenty of hot water. The attention to detail was evident in every room, even down to Christmas decorations!
  Jayne managed to achieve the perfect balance of being around from time to time whilst giving us plenty of peace and liberty. Not an easy balance to acheive at all, but she did it beautifully. 
  The location is ideal, within walking distance to Biggin and a short drive from Hartington. Buxton and Bakewell are within very easy reach as are many great hiking routes. I´d highly recommend Cotterill Farm and hope to return.

• ”Just s spent week at the farm staying in the hay store. Just the perfect place to unwind and relax,absolute quiet apart from the sound of the wind and the sheep. The hay store was spotless and well equipped and warm,very welcome after long walk.
  Local pubs, the waterloo and the Devonshire arms, do great meals,would recommend booking especially at a weekend.
  Good walk nearby and you don't even have to take the car. Tissington trail and Monsal head are definitely worth a visit and easy walks to do.

Millstone Cottage

• ”Stayed at Millstone which was a lovely little holiday cottage with all amenities. The space was good and the beds comfortable. All appliances etc worked well. But overall it just had a lovely feel - comfortable and welcoming. The landlady is lovely (even when you mess up your booking dates!) and helpful. Yes the internet is intermittent but you are in the middle of beautiful isolated countryside and most of the nice bits of the Peak District are exactly the same. Cannot recommend highly enough.
